Install and test before departure
Confirm that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Check the exact regional model because mainland China versions of many phones do not support eSIM even when international versions do. Install the eSIM over stable Wi-Fi and keep the installation information available. Do not delete the eSIM after it has been added.
Set up the phone correctly
On arrival, choose the eSIM as the mobile-data line and enable data roaming for that line if the plan requires it. Turn off data roaming on your regular SIM to reduce accidental charges. If you need your home number for SMS or calls, keep that line active but use the eSIM for data.
Plan for exhibition-day usage
Common tasks include scanning supplier information, sending product photos, using email and messaging, translating conversations, opening maps, joining calls, and sharing a hotspot with a laptop. Photo and video uploads can consume data quickly. Disable automatic cloud backup and app updates during the exhibition if you need to conserve the allowance.
Application availability
Some eSIM plans may use international routing. However, access and performance for specific apps depend on the selected plan, carrier, device, location, network congestion, applicable requirements, and other technical conditions. Confirm the services essential to your work before purchase.

When requesting a recommendation, provide the phone model, exhibition dates, number of travelers, expected photo or video uploads, and whether each team member needs an independent eSIM.
