The Two Countries Most Commonly Missed
Two countries catch travelers by surprise:
United Kingdom: Since Brexit took effect on January 1, 2021, the UK is no longer part of the EU roaming framework. Plans defined by EU membership may exclude it. Our Europe 35+ plan explicitly includes the UK. Always check the full country list rather than the headline number.

Do I need a separate eSIM if I am adding Turkey to my Europe trip?
Not if Turkey is listed in your Europe plan's country coverage. Our Europe 35+ plan includes Turkey. If your plan is EU-only: Turkey is not an EU member and would not be included. Check the country list and add a Turkey eSIM if needed.
How does the eSIM handle entering a non-covered country by accident?
If you cross into a country not covered by your plan — for example, entering Serbia if your plan does not list it — the eSIM will show no data service for that country. Your physical home SIM may roam onto local networks at your carrier's rates if Data Roaming is enabled on it. For Serbia or other Balkan countries on your route: confirm they are in your plan's country list before departure.
