Uluru — Red Centre Coverage
Uluru (Ayers Rock) is 450km from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Telstra reaches Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park visitor centre. Walking around the base of Uluru (10.6km base walk): Telstra partial — good at the cultural centre and main viewpoints, drops on the more remote base walk sections. Great Barrier Reef — Cairns to Outer Reef
Cairns city: Telstra excellent. Boat to reef (1.5-2 hours): signal drops as you move offshore. At the outer reef dive sites (Agincourt Reef, Osprey Reef): no signal. This is expected — you are 70km offshore. Take photos on your dive camera or GoPro, upload to Instagram when back in Cairns that evening.
